Kenilworth is a small town with an exceptionally good choice of
restaurants and smaller shops. There is a large supermarket in the
main street along with several new bars and restaurants.
At the top of the town, not far from
Kenilworth's magnificent castle ruins, enjoy a relaxing walk in
Abbey Fields and see the cottages of 'Little Virginia'- where Sir
Walter Raleigh was thought to have planted some of the first
potatoes he brought back from the New World.
Nearby is Stoneleigh
Abbey and Stoneleigh Park which holds the annual
Royal Show and Town and Country Show.
Kenilworth is ideally located for access to Warwick University,
which is only 4 miles away. A regular University bus runs from the
town. This makes it ideal for Students, Post Graduates and Lecturers
wishing to rent a property in the Kenilworth area.
There is currently a lot
of redevelopment in Kenilworth. Waitrose is now open and part of
their planned development is re-vamping the older shops in the
market square area. There are several new bars, restaurants and
coffee franchises opening too.
Kenilworth has an
excellent choice of property to rent from brand new apartments to
large character family sized properties. It is an excellent location
for access to Leamington Spa, Warwick, Coventry and the M40 and M6.
