Energy Performance Certificates

Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's) will be required for rented properties in October 2008. The latest news is that the certificates will last for 10 years. Copies will have to be given to prospective tenants at the application stage. Landlords will not be required to follow the recommendations that the assessor makes.
